Meets:
How do I sign up for a meet?
Meet sign-up is done online, located in the Registration section of our site. A meet description will be posted for you to download and review. The coaches will select the event (s) to participate in.

Who is responsible for signing up for individual events and relays?
Parents are responsible for signing up their swimmer for individual events working with the coach to determine what race they should enter. The coaches determine who is swimming on relays.

Do I have to participate in swim meets?
It is strongly encouraged to attend all local meets during the swim season. If athletes want to move up, they need to gain experience in competition setting. It is also encouraged to attend an out-of-town meet to prepare for participating in Regional and State meets.

What do I bring to a swim meet?
There is a detailed list of what to bring in our handbook. Team suits and caps are strongly encouraged.

What does it take to be an official?
You need to become certified by the Local Swim Committee (LSC) Officials Chair to become an official. Each LSC establishes its own criteria for training and certifying its officials. The national standards are ensured through taking a series of tests. Officials are trained to be consistent in their knowledge of the rules and protocol involved in each position. This consistency if fostered through USA Swimming and LSC officials workshops. If you are really interested in becoming an official, speak with one of the officials during a break at your next meet. Or, feel free to contact you LSC officials chair for more information
