DMSF is managed by a volunteer parent board-of-directors comprised of eight elected
officials. Directors are elected to a two-year term by the general membership at
the annual October meeting. It is the responsibility of the board to make recommendations
regarding the hiring and firing of staff, develop an annual budget, conduct performance
evaluations of staff, make recommendations regarding salaries, oversee the annual
club audit, collect fees, provide record-keeping for the club and its members, and
appoint chairs of various committees. The board generally meets monthly. All board
meetings are announced ahead of time and are open to the general membership.
